You may recall that in October we released the CBS DocGen Facility, also referred to as the New Coverage Summary. We hosted a live webinar at the time of the release, but for anyone that missed it or would like to see it again, you can watch the recording here. CBS Product Manager Faye Benge gives an overview of the Coverage Summary and how it integrates into CBS. Faye also demonstrates the creation of the template as well as application in policy recording.
This webinar is directed mainly at the CBS administrators, but anyone else interested is more than welcome to watch the CBS DocGen webinar.

Ebix continues to add to its sponsorship of international tennis players, all of whom will be playing in the 2019 Australian Open. These include Croatia’s Marin Cilic, Czech Republic native, Tomas Berdych, and American tennis champion John Isner; and representing the ladies is US player CoCo Vandeweghe.
We’re very excited to have Ebix being represented in the Australian Open by such world-class players and we’ll be watching the Open closely to see how they all do. Below is a brief profile on each of the Ebix sponsored tennis players. We hope to add an Australian representative to #TeamEbix in the future!
Marin Cilic (b. 1988 Croatia; current ranking: no. 7)
Marin Cilic first gained attention on a world-wide scale when he beat then-world no.2 Andy Murray in the fourth round of the 2009 US Open. His career has seen him win 18 ATP titles, including the 2014 US Open. Cilic was ranked no. 7 last month, his highest ranking being no. 3 in January of this year.
Cilic has reached the quarter final or further of all four grand slam tournaments; including placing runner-up at the 2017 Wimbledon Championships and the 2018 Australian Open, defeated by Roger Federer both times.
John Isner (b. 1985 USA; current ranking: no. 10)
John Isner is a tennis player known for his ace serves and marathon match records. Having served more than 8,800 aces, Isner currently holds 4th place for most aces in the history of ATP. Some may attribute his serving talent to his impressive 6ft10 height.
He holds the record for longest professional tennis match played, defeating Nicolas Mahut at the 2010 Wimbledon Championships in a total of 11 hours, 5 minutes over 3 days. Isner is no stranger to marathon matches, losing the 2018 Australian open semi-finals to Kevin Anderson after 6 and half hours of play. Isner fully supports the introduction of a new rule that prevents tennis matches becoming so long, believing it should be called the “Isner rule”.
His highest ranking was world no. 9 in April 2012.
Tomas Berdych (b. 1985 Czech Republic; current ranking: 71)
Tomas Berdych caused quite a stir at the 2010 Wimbledon championships when he defeated Roger Federer in the quarter-finals and Novak Djokovic in the semi-finals; the highlight of his tennis career to date.
Berdych has made it to the semi-finals of all four Grand Slams, and is among only 2 other players who have beaten all the “Big Four” in major tournaments.
Berdych made it to the quarter finals for his 10th appearance at the Australian Open in 2018.
CoCo Vandeweghe (b. 1991 USA; current ranking 102)
Although she has only just scraped into the 2019 Australian Open following a tough run for 2018, CoCo Vandeweghe is an internationally acclaimed tennis player in her own right.
Her most notable achievements include reaching the quarter finals for the 2015 and 2017 Wimbledon Championships; and the semi-finals at the 2017 US Open. Vandeweghe reached the semi-finals for the Australian Open in 2017 and the finals in 2016. We’re predicting a comeback from CoCo at the 2019 Australian Open.
What Ebix CEO, Robin Raina, is referring to as Ebix 2.0, is reason behind a wave of Ebix acquisitions in India, which is taking the company into a very different direction on the other side of the globe. The most recent acquisition was AHA Taxis, a platform for on-demand inter-city cabs in India.
While this acquisition initially might sound completely out of place for Ebix, a software company that has largely concentrated on serving the insurance and financial industries on a global level; it sits alongside a number of other acquisitions with a focus on the Indian financial services, travel and transport market.
It all started with the purchase of what was formerly ItzCash, now known as EbixCash, in May 2017.
EbixCash is a leader in digital cash in India, and a forerunner in prepaid cards and bill payments. Its distribution network includes over 75,000 outlets across India, and serves 75+ million consumers, processing an impressive 600,000 transactions a day. Ebix has invested in this venture with the intention of integrating insurance, healthcare, and telemedicine services, as well as leveraging the already existing share in the travel industry.
This acquisition has fuelled the decisions of further business purchases in the India market in order to achieve the above vision for EbixCash. These include:
- Via - leading travel exchange
- Mercury Travels - a leading travel company
- Leisure Corp - a leading travel company
- Routier - a pioneering B2B marketplace for trucking logistics
- YouFirst Money Express - India's 3rd largest international remittance player
- MTSS Business and its subsidiary Goldman Securities - International remittance business
- Ebix and BSE Investments launch joint venture - Insurance distribution network
- Ebix and Vara launch joint venture - IT and BPO outsourcing for finance and insurance sector
- Transcorp - international remittance business
- Centrum Direct - foreign exchange and outward remittance business
- Smartclass - eLearning services
- Indus - enterprise technology solutions for finance, telecom and insurance industries serving international markets
These purchases are leading Ebix into an interesting and exciting direction, and has seen Ebix named among Fortune's fastest growing companies in 2017.
