Next Gen Custom Web Apps

Custom Web Apps

We are pleased to announce that iClose Next Gen Custom Web Apps (CWA) is here. iClose Next Gen CWA is a refresh of the existing iClose, transforming it into a 'turly mobile' application. Using the latest technology stack we have been able to implement the following features: responsive design, a modern and easy to navigate user-interface, faster product loading, browser neutrality and multi-device friendly.

Custom Web Apps is a complete development and hosting environment for creating online insurance products which can then be offered to your clients directly from your website. Product development is done using a toolkit which eliminates the need for expensive custom programming. Online products can be developed at a fraction of the cost of traditional methods.

Custom Web Apps provide flexible quote facilities making it easy for your clients to obtain a quote. Successful quotes can be converted and paid for online and then automatically uploaded into your broking system, so there is no need for any manual processing. It is an efficient and cost effective way of turning your website into an e-commerce site without the hassle.

InsurtechCBS and eGlobal Customer Self Service Upgrade

In October we released upgraded versions of both CBS and eGlobal Customer Self Service Applications. These applications provide a solution for the technology gap that the insurance industry is renowned for. Customer Self Service (CSS) allows your clients secure access to their policies, claims and accounting information online, via your existing website. This information is created through a one-way feed from either your CBS or eGlobal database and displayed within an online account only accessible by those with the password. CSS seeks to satisfy today's customer who prefers to be able to access their policy details anytime, anywhere (read: Why Customers Love Self Service); and in doing so your office administration time will be reduced.

The upgrade to CSS includes such features as responsive design, multi device friendly, browser neutral, and increased customisation options. These new features come at a critical time when responsive design and browser neutrality are more important than ever. Google Chrome has snatched the leading browser status from long reigning Internet Explorer. Internet Explorer is even expected to reach its end of life in the near future as it gets replaced by Microsoft's updated browser, Edge. Smart phones and tablets continue to increase their popularity as devices to access the internet from. This is confirmed by Google's mobile friendly algorithm released last year which they continue to refine, favouring mobile friendly sites when a search is conducted on a mobile device. It is therefore beneficial to have responsive design, enabling improved use, better navigation and easier reading from mobile devices of any kind.

The new release of CSS in both CBS and eGlobal is now available. If you would like more information, please email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. for a datasheet or to arrange a demonstration.
